Welcome to Craigiebuckler Church

Craigiebuckler Parish Church is one of the largest congregations in the Aberdeen Presbytery of the Church of Scotland.

The church is progressive in the style of worship which incorporates traditional and modern forms. It is also progressive in that the church actively seeks to involve itself with the local community.


You are welcome to all our Services.

Morning worship 11am on Sunday. (10am July and August)

There is a crèche available for babies and young children in the Church Halls.

An induction loop system is available during our service and large print copies of the hymn book are available at the church door.

Coffee will be served after the Morning Service with donations divided between two charities. The donations from July to December will go for some upgrades to the kitchen. There will also be a Fairtrade Stall.

We celebrate Holy Communion on the last Sunday of April and first Sunday in November at 11am and 2.30pm.

In addition, Informal Communions are held on the following Wednesdays  at 7pm in the church (October to April).

Special Services

We have special services at Christmas, Holy Week, Easter, Harvest and Remembrance. See the calendar for dates of these services.

Services are held in Angusfield Care Home on the third Sunday of the month at 2.15pm and in Rubislaw Park Care Home every Sunday of the month at 2.30pm..


Monthly informal cafe style, worship on the third Sunday of the month, October to March at 7.00pm in the Church Hall.

Concert on Friday September 2nd at 7.30 pm
Craigiebuckler Church will hold a very special charity concert for Christian Aid. The evening will feature musicians from Craigiebuckler. Three are young musicians who receive scholarships from NESMS (North East of Scotland Music School) to enable them to develop their musical talents. Taking part will be:

Come and join us for what is sure to be a feast of wonderful music. Tickets priced £8 (including refreshments) are available from the church office or at the door on the night.
