The Prayer Group meets after Church on Sunday to pray for the Prayer Requests left in the box which is in the vestibule of the church. Requests can also be emailed to the church office.
A Threads Course will be held in the Douglas Lounge in the church halls on Wednesday evenings from 7.30 to 9pm.
Threads asks the question “What does it mean to you to be a Christian living in Scotland today?” To this, there are many answers, for even within the Church of Scotland, the threads that make up the whole picture, are as different as the people who weave them.
If you have ever asked that question, wondered what Christians do, or what the Church is for, then this course might help provide the answers you are searching for. Maybe you would like to join the Church, or be more involved, or are just curious. If you are then Threads is for you.
Threads is 20 minute episodes weaving faith and life through the eyes of various people, places and situations, followed by an opportunity to discuss the questions raised and any of your own over a cup of coffee.
